Photos of a Dark-billed Cuckoo, the first one made in Suriname by Suzan van Breenen on Ston eiland in June 2010, the second one made by Carl Beel in July 2010 and below the tex a picture made by Michel Giraud-Audine in French Guiana in July 2006. All 30 or so observations of this Cuckoo in Suriname are from the months May to October, as can be seen below. It migrates to Suriname from the South of Brazil and from Argentina, where it breeds in the other months. In Suriname it is found mainly along the coast in mangrove and old plantations.
