The most easily heard and recognised birdsounds are the sound of
the Great Kiskadee in town and the Screaming Piha and the
White-throated Toucan in the forest.

Unless otherwise indicated, the above sound recordings are
made by me (Ribot) in Suriname in 1983-'84 and some could be
clearer. More recent (after 2002) recordings were made by Foek
Chin-Joe, Otte Ottema and Alexandre Renaudier. All recordings
were made in Suriname, except for the ones of Alexandre, who made
his recordings in French Guiana near the border with Suriname.
